The cell phone doesn’t exhibit the typical charming look of the Samsung phones. The size of the phone is 115x57x13mm, although it is not over lumpy. But it is flat looking. Below the screen, buttons are congested, which don’t appear nice. They are difficult to use. The red line around the OK button too, looks distinctly cheap. D-pad too is an unnecessary thing for a touchscreen phone, but it is up to us to judge.
Battery cover on the backside is made of rubberized plastic, thereby the handset is easy to handle. The ear-phones which you get along with the device are also good, however we can use ones of your choice as there are standard 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB port on the upper side of the device.
In place of the AMOLED display, the TFT screen have been used in this cell phone, which is more sophisticated. However the screen is perfect and has a resolution of 320x480 and it is really good when the price of the phone is considered. It is really bright and in fact slightly more natural than that on the AMOLED screen. Moreover, it has capacitive technology and it is more receptive to touch than the resistive technology. Samsung Galaxy Portal i5700 Review is in a way pleasurable, because we have a chance to know more about a really useful and equally ravishing mobile phone.
